November Birthday Babies: Part 2

Tuesday

Today we held a surprise birthday party for the last 2 classmates born in November. The plan? We told Bonnie that we will be going to the cinema at 1pm and Andy will be fetching her. Instead of doing so, the class gather in the morning and hunt for presents. After 1 hour of wandering around mile 4, we finally bought 2 perfumes. It was raining the whole day, unfortunately for us.

After lunch, we went to Bonnie's house. We were supposed to send someone in to ask for the toilet while the rest of the class prepare the surprise. However, Andy drove straight past her house. Bonnie noticed and came out. We were immediately in panic mode. We were screaming (shrieking actually) "NOOOO!! DON'T COME OUT, DON'T COME OUT!!!"

We spent some time at Bonnie's house while waiting for LWC to come. We later went to Veda Blue for some ice-cream before heading home.

A video of us singing the song. No audio tho. Pardon me for laughing after watching Andy's expression the moment he heard his name in the song (A MUST SEE, his expression is SO funny!)

I'm legal!!!

Saturday

I just wanted to thank everyone for their wishes through facebook, msn and sms. They mean a lot to me. I am absolutely delighted upon receiving each birthday wish. Again, a very, very big thank you to my friends. Amanda too. :)

We had planned this outing a few days before and had nothing to do with celebrating my birthday since they celebrated my birthday 'accidentally' last week. I had even forgotten my birthday was on Saturday until Friday. Well, anyway, I was touched when the girls presented me with a box in a 7-Heaven bag. Inside was another slice of cake. Aww, guys, thanks so much!
However I was so full I had to bring it to the cinema with me and ate it while watching 2012.
.

Of course, we couldn't resist taking photos with so many of us around. I totally did not expect so many to turn up.
.
The movie was good. I wasn't as excited as everyone else but yeah, it is a commendable movie. I was on the edge of my seat and biting my fingernails at certain scenes. I expect the movie to be full of falling buildings and fire everywhere. I wasn't wrong. What I didn't expext was the sheer horror from watching the cracking earth and the giant tsunamis and the state of Hawaii becoming a pile of hot melting larvae and and... oh, it's nerve-wrecking all right. After watching what happens on doomsday, if it arrives, I'll do what a friend suggested, drink 10ml of cyanide.

Holiday!!!

Friday

This is really cool right?

Finally! The moment I have anticipated since a month ago is here! The last day of school!!! Right, first on my list is to enjoy every second available before hitting the books. (which I seriously doubt will happen given my past records with homework and tests) Animes, here I come! By the way, there will be lots of updates about school as we have to do our bio experiments and stuff. Holiday?

6R November birthday babies - part 1

Thursday

The class originally planned a suprise for Phui Yhin on Tuesday. However, I was thrown into the plans at the last minute due to some complications with the presents. It was pretty obvious actually, the way they seem intent on getting me out of the class. Well, I ain't complaining. Thanks guys!

I like this take waaay better. Mun: TY attempt take 2
.
I like this very, very much. loling at the guy on the far left.

Dissecting flowers

Tuesday

This is one of the orchids used for the biology experiment today
My photo editing skills are pretty good, wouldn't you agree? keke
Well okay, it's not that great, what with all the photo editing tools available

Anyway, the biology experiment was, again, an epic failure
I can't seem to be able to cut the flower into two perfect halves, without mutilating the whole thing
And by that I mean at every try, everything came off, the petals, the stalk, and every other flower parts you can name. I totally suck at these kinda things.
By the way, let this semester end already! I'm totally in a holiday mood. I envy the Form 3s so much. The school is definitely biased, with extreme prejudice to our batch. Speaking of school, we have to go this talk thingy tomorrow. Must be hella boring. Will definitely be updated at the Form 6 blog.

Belated birthday presents

Today, we decided to present Jing Jing with her birthday presents - a week late. We didn't manage to prepare a single thing on the actual day, due to the exam we were having. But that doesn't mean we are gonna let it be, just like that... ( since we are all so nice, ehem) So the plan was made, the presents were bought and... suprise! Did you think we have forgotten? Touched leh... keke

Right, now, the rubik's cube and the teddy bear bag is from yean and phui yhin. The polka dot doll is from me, the tuppaware is from Jac, and the cow from Bonnie. Yup, that's about it.

Crayon Shin Chan

Saturday

I grew up watching this manga. When I was young, when I saw a new volume in a bookstore, I will buy it without a moment of hesitation. I have stacks of it back home. Usually, when I read the book, I will suddenly burst out laughing and my sis would look at me with an " Are-you-crazy?' look. Now, I haven't been reading the manga for a while and the ironic thing is, I have been thinking about getting a copy of the latest volume when I heard the news that the author is dead. Well, I'll just get my hands on the last book. I'm gonna miss his stories on the perverted and mischeivous 5-year old boy. For that, thank you, Yoshita Usui.

Thanks!

Tuesday

Boohoo. Today was sick again... What else? Stomachache and vomitting loh. Haiz... was stuck in the school toilet for 30 minutes? XD Anyway, thanks to all those who are concerned Amanda, Marilyn, the F6 girls and mostly to Yean cos she helped me get all the signatures when I'm not feeling up to it. She even waited with me while waiting for my car to come... Sorry cos u can't eat ya... Feeling much better now. Hmm, the doctor say it's food poisoning but I didn't eat anything but maggi last night...

Memorable life of us

Monday

Doing my part as a member of lower 6 and one of the authors of the blog. We reveal to you what goes on in that small yellow class ignored by most. To get a sneak peek of our antics, please click here.

My interesting Tuesday...not really

Tuesday

Updated, credits to Yean

I want a puppy :( Not gonna happen anytime soon though

Bio test was cancelled...yet again. Studied like a madman yesterday night, only to be told it is postponed again. I was not feeling exactly thrilled about it, as I would've been able to start working on my maths the sooner we get it over with. Not exactly in the mood to continue memorizing funtions of xylem as well. Xavier actually insist that I study... Woah... Will the Sun rise from the East tomorrow? XD

Erm, the next sort of interesting thing is a group of boys light off (is that the right way to say it?) a firecracker today. The police actually came! Special treatment yo! The Form 6 went to 38 before Ms Wong came. Mr Ganesan, we noticed, seemed to command more authority than the two policemen! Teacher, better abandon teaching and join the police force. The monkeys living at my apartment area set a firecracker off every few minutes anyway, so I barely registered the firecracker noise today as astonishingly, I had grown accustomed to it. What goes on in my mind was can I call the police too next time?

Pn Grace was sick again. She wanted a one month leave?! Will we finish the syllabus in time if that is to happen? Hmmm, at least in Bio today we learned that we are similiar to chimpanzees.
.
Is this supposed to be in the other blog? I wrote this here because it involves my thoughts rather than the viewpoint of the whole class.

Gathering at Equator

Friday

This is the gathering to meet Chloe, Chui Yee and Ku chai at Equator. In the end, did not talk much but strike many different funny poses for the camera. Why? I had no idea. Wakaka. Everyone there let us ss by ourselves.

22 August 2009 - Holiday

Saturday

Finally the holidays are here! At last, one whole week for me to sleep and wake up late. That alone, is much to look foward to. However, there is homework to be done and upcoming tests to study for. How I wish I was a junior again.... Sorry to the girls for not joining in the activities they had plan for this holiday. It's nothing personal, it's just that sports are never my idea of fun, no matter how much I wanted them to be.

Plus, Ku chai is coming back! Miss her leh. Let’s plan for a gathering ASAP! Who’s joining?

20 August 2009 - Us again

Thursday

Bio test is cancelled! Yeah! Though it made my late-night studying last night pointless. Today was pretty boring... But anyway, here's some weekly updates.

National day celebration... I think it goes without saying the whole thing was nothing special. I was pretty disappointed by the celebration boards (as in every celebration). More so with each passing year. When we were still juniors, I remember they had a lot of creative ideas for the boards.

Yean's bag. Though I always make fun of it, I do think it's cute. Lol.

Yean's weekly pic. Let's just say this is...err... artistic.

13 August 2009 - Us on a Thursday

Our Bio research project: B.O.D experiment on water sources of the school

Chin Kah Yean, the *cough* researcher

The boys at their *boy zone*

Yean being cool

I actually like this corner a lot. Corner of multiple functions.
.
Then we have the recycling competition organised by our club, the nature society. We had to get the basketball court ready for it and we worked like mad under the scorching sun , not to mention running all over the place just to get some stupid clipboards. Absolutely terrible. We should've done the things sooner! If we take things any easier, I would've fainted.
.
The boys working hard. Spot the red circle.

I do not know the name of this teacher, but why waste his enthusiasm?
