Story of My Life

KLCC + Petaling Street

Friday

Sunday, the day after we went to Melaka. NK really wanted to go (to take pics), so we took the KTM to KL in the afternoon.

Suria KLCC

There's nothing really special about the place, just a shopping mall, with all those really branded shops which I may never be able to afford. KLCC is not my scene as of now. But honestly, I am getting tired of shopping malls, they are all the same.

We went outside and do touris-y things, nothing much to show (and yup, this two dudes again)

Moving on to Petaling Street, found out the way there from a tourist guidebook found in Kinokuniya (we are so resourceful):

All those fake branded goods

And I honestly do not feel comfortable having fake Burberries or Loius Vuittons with me. I feel like, if you want to own one, then settle for the real thing, nothing less will do.

Had luk luk for dinner. The pictures are self-explanatory right? It's getting pretty late and I am quite lazy to continue typing. So I'll just end this post here. :) Till next time

Melaka Trip

Monday

Our Melaka trip, a few days before second semester started, it was a totally random decision, we just knew we wanted to head out somewhere. We were discussing KL, then Zoo Negara, then why not Zoo Melaka, and then it was decided then and there Melaka it is.

Taking the KTM to Seremban, where we boarded a bus to Melaka

Melaka Sentral, the one stop to head to everywhere and anywhere in Melaka (It is SUCH a small state!). Asked around and found out Zoo Melaka is located in Ayer Keroh, but we missed a bus due to some, err, problems, if you know what I mean (I bet u dont, cause I am being totally vague here).

Majilis Pembandaran Melaka

The zoo and look how skinny I was here! One Chinese new year and poof! Rounder me T.T

Look at this poor little thing being tied up like that

Parrots

Small horses

One huge animal which at one point got aggressive at us, my friends say it was because it saw a red shirt but aren't they colour blind?

Lazy tiger, actually most animals looked like that all day, must be the captivity.

#And not a single fuck was given that day

Mini Safari! And I looked kinda retarded here!

Enjoying its mud bath

Waiting to get on the bus back to Melaka Sentral, weather was scorching hot

Next stop: Christchurch Melaka, birds took a dump right on top of me here at night time, while we were waiting for the bus

where we took obligatory tourist shots

and more (the sun was setting and we were rushing like mad)

and more, love this shot by the way

A ship that is actually a museum, found it out from the landmark keychains we bought

Love this shot!!

Decided to try out the Melaka River Cruise, very beautiful scenery, Melaka is such a beautiful state.

The tickets used

And that's the summary of the trip, I would also like to mention that we headed back home around 10pm, where ALL the last buses bound for Seremban had left, and we were panicking until, alas, one last bus heading to Seremban! Amen!

I kinda forgot to add in some pics here and there, but this is decent enough right? More on my other trips soon! :)) And thanks to my friend Ngee Kiat, most pics were stolen from him

Korean Cuisine

Sunday

It seems like it has been a gazillion years since I last blogged (and this phrase seems awfully familiar, don't you think?) And also none when I started my first semester last August. Don't think anyone actually blogs or read them anymore. Have been visiting a lot of places recently and I thought it would be a waste if I don't blog about them. So here I am again, writing about the places I have been to and also on some random stuffs. I think I'll start on the random stuff first, as posts on trips need time to construct. :))

Anyway, yesterday was Kaixiang's birthday. He's 20 now! I'm not sure if he'll be reading this but; big boy d!! Gonna go travel soon, don't make us always worried and frustrated, ok?? So, that said, we did some homework on that day, which sucks, a lot. But thankfully, we decided to eat something nice for a change and found ourselves in a Korean restaurant not far from our hostel.

The decorations and the wall, where customers can write messages, wishes and so on. I must say, I really like this concept a lot. :))

Korean starters; nuts, egg, beans, and kimchi!! We refilled a few times, could not get enough

The atmosphere and design of the place, it's a little bit run-down, but that's okay. There are low tables too, where we can sit and enjoy a meal like a true Korean. Tee-hee.

This is something with kimchi, #descriptionfail

Duk boki

My curry rice, very fragrant.

To round this post up, we went back and did some more homework. A very exciting day indeed. :)) For now, tata!!
