Tooth Fairy

Sunday

Watched the movie tooth fairy... It was... okay I think. Fell short of my expectations but you've gotta love The Rock. Not many people are willing to poke fun at themselves the way he did. So, which left me wondering how many of you actually believed in the tooth fairy while growing up. I did. My mom ensured that whenever my sister and I lose a tooth, the next day we would find a dollar underneath our pillows. Heck, I even believed in Tinkerbell. I think my mom and sis convinced me that she will come and take me to Neverland at night. Ah, how stupid of me.

Taken by Yean during Sports Day. She likes to take candid pictures like this. Blogging seems to have lost its appeal lately, plus it's not like I have anything to blog about. These days, I am trying to cope with all the homework and tests piled upon us. My obsession with the Internet and my irregular sleeping habits certainly aren't helping, but I'm trying all the same... sorta. I hope I'll be able to do something productive this week though.

Rounding up my CNY post

Thursday

The title says it all. I don't need to elaborate much, do I? Annual school CNY celebration. The performances was a bit tedious but the drama was good. It was very creatively done and their attempts at humour was very well done. I thought some of the dialogue was a tad provocative but all in all, it was entertaining.

Foreigners in the classroom

On friday, we visited Pn Grace's house. It was the day after the stpm results came out so we talked about it and got a bit of a lecture on how we should all work harder and all that. An exceptionally shitty picture of me.

Extra: Sis' new NDSL

Summary of CNY 2010

Summarizing this year's Chinese new year... since most of the photos are already uploaded on facebook, I'll just upload these few here. It's great to be able to catch up with everyone, especially the girls... missed them! ^^

Sports day 2010

Saturday

So, on 5th and 6th of Feb were our school's sports days. I'm just glad it's over. The teachers wanted us to hold important roles and thought that having us as one of the judges would be, to quote them, "a good experience for us all" Good experience my foot. We were supposed to be having the same responsibilities and authorities as the teachers but instead some of us were treated as extras. That means running across the field to and fro whenever the teachers fancy it. Makes you wanna go #*^%@*. At least, for once, I knew what was happening on the field? One of the teachers was just plain... I ran away halfway through a job. I hope SHE won't be complaining and get me into trouble.

Anyway, I'm not cut out for long days like these. At the end of the day, every ounce of energy would be sapped from me. I slept for 12 hours straight last night! Anyway, here's a quick summary of the day in form of pictures

Kong's birthday present from us gals and LWC.
I forgot to capture what was inside it.
It was a multiple USB reader. (Is that what it's called?)

Bon trying out LWC's sunglasses.

I'l keep my comments to myself for this one.

Working hard under the blazing sun. We came prepared! Umbrellas and all.

Isn't this adorable?

After I escaped on the second day, I did not went back. I followed Marilyn, Jing and Yean around for a while before heading home on my own. Oh, Gabriel and Scott came on the first day. I was really glad to see Gabriel as I could finally speak english. Sounds kinda lame, I know, but I'm kinda desperate here. XD. For more photos please visit the f6 blog.

Welcome 2010!

2009
.
No waking up at 6 in the morning for half a year.
Dyed my hair brown. (really not fond of it black)
Feeling smug about my new-found freedom.
Got a job as a teacher, which I am crap at. Kinds aren't scared of me! =.=
Kinda OK SPM results.
Missed my friends quite badly.
Attended Form 6, met new friends.
Special treatment by the teachers XD.
Walked a lot more, sounds weird I know but my legs are much more stronger than it was 2 years ago. thanks to the f6 gals.
Happy with classmates, very fun to be with.
Felt lonely at times.
Great birthday, great presents! Watched 2012 with the rest of the class.
Not so good year-end results.

2010

Hmm, I'm not sure what to look forward to this year, certainly not STPM... YG? kekeke. Oh Oh, I am to call myself 19 this year! Can you believe it?! Watching the Form 1s this year reminded me of myself 6 years ago. Excited about finally being in secondary school and naively believing everything the teachers said... perhaps being in awe with the oldest students in the school, which we are, now. (okay, let's not start comparing my size) That was such a long time ago. Well, not a believer of new year resolutions since I have a hard time following even my daily plans... So unlike most blogs you wont see one here. Hope I will get through STPM alive. Did I mention I'll dye my hair straight after? XD
